Dil Raju on 'Fake' Tollywood Records

Successful distributor and a wonderful producer with excellent taste towards film making and selection of scripts is Dil Raju. He has come for an open talk on fake Tollywood records. We are hearing non-sense on Numerous Records, Industry Hits and Mind Blowing Collections for each star movie released. 

Dil Raju says, ‘this is a practical stunt done only to attract public. There might be only few movies whose collections are transparent and real while all the rest are faked. We need a minimum of Rs.40 Crores to complete a film with star hero and get it released on time. On the other side, it is really tough to collect a share more than that. Then, where is the question of earning profits. So, need of the hour is to control the cost in film making.’ 

Reacting on ‘Aa Naluguru’ commanding the entire Tollywood, all the way from production, distribution and exhibition of films, Dil Raju declared, ‘I don’t agree with the statement. Even I don’t have big background and film studios like others. Currently, I am having just 25 theatres. I too face similar problems like others in getting my movie released. So, I can’t be one amongst this ‘Aa Naluguru.’ Yet, I truly believe that one needs to have sufficient number of theatres under the control to succeed in film industry.’
