Shah Rukh Unhappy with Telugu Film?!

While Bollywood is cashing on Telugu hit subjects by remaking the same in Hindi, our producers are trying to use hit Hindi songs as titles for Telugu films. ‘Chammak Challo’ of Varun Sandesh, Sanchita Padukone and Catherine in the direction of Neelakanta is said to be the one film about which Shah Rukh Khan is unhappy. It is learnt from media reports that Mr. DS Rao, producer of the film has received a notice from Red Chillies Entertainement for using their popular song from ‘Ra.One.’

Of course, DS Rao faced similar situations when his ‘Mr. Nokia’ was changed to ‘Mr. Nookayya’ due to complaints from the most famous mobile brand. However, this time DS Rao quashed the rumors on receiving notice from Shah Rukh’s production house. ‘If I receive any objections from Shah Rukh Khan, I am ready to change the title rather than buying the same from him paying Lakhs of rupees,’ DS Rao is reported to have said. 

We do hear of producer Bandla Ganesh Babu having paid Rs.25 Lakhs to Sippy for taking a NOC for using ‘Gabbar Singh’ as title for Pawan Kalyan’s recent blockbuster.
