Difference between NBK and Jr. NTR

Stature of a Hero decides on what kind of characters, he should accept in building a strong career. Star status enjoyed today by heroes like Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna hasn’t been achieved over-night. They have passed through step by step development to gain the special dignity of an able artist. Heroes like Junior NTR should adopt similar strategy in acquiring the competencies like his Babai.

‘Adhinayakudu/Simha’ and ‘Dammu’ are quite good examples which show the difference between Babai & Abbai. Surely, NTR is a wonderful actor who can get into the skin of any character but every time he shouldered a weighty character incompatible with his age, the result was dismal. May it be, ‘Andhrawala’ or ‘Samba’ or ‘Shakti’ or even ‘Dammu.’ In contrast, ‘Adhinayakudu’ may not have a great script or extra-ordinary narration yet it is wooing masses only because of so called ‘Elderly Stature’ our NBK has possessed. Without discussing on the aspects of commercial success, one can’t expect any artist other than Balayya Babu in characters of Harish Chandra Prasad or Rama Krishna Prasad and Dr. Narasimha. Still, NTR is in the process of gaining a ‘Stature’ and he can’t get impatient trying the intransigent roles.
