'Daruvu' surprises with Sobhan Babu

Late Sobhan Babu is one of the talented and best actors our Tollywood has ever seen. He is considered as the romantic icon in 70 and 80s. Sobhan Babu gave a graceful exit from films making his name to glitter brightly as long as Telugu Cinema exists. However with advent of younger generation heroes, people tend to forget golden stars like Sobhan Babu who is surprisingly seen today on the big screen in the film of ‘Daruvu.’

Thanks to director Siva’s thought of portraying Raviteja’s character of Ravindra as the only son of Sobhan Babu, a noble politician while his wife character is played by Jayasudha. Of course, Sobhan Babu’s face was limited to large photo frames garlanded with flowers yet the number of black & white cum color portraits of this handsome hero used for 'Daruvu’ touched the hearts of many audience to feel nostalgic. (It's really tough to collect those rare pics of Sobhan Babu). Many such stars like Sobhan Babu are physically unavailable, they awaken our memories by appearing now and then in this way.
