Nithyananda's Ranjitha fumes @ Jayendra

Actress Ranjitha, who was caught two years ago in compromising poses with Swamy Nithyananda in a controversial video footage, is back in news. She has filed a criminal defamation case against Kanchi Mutt’s Jayendra Saraswathi. The complaint was moved yesterday against the pontiff for his reported intimidating statements against her. This is linked to Jayendra’s interview last week where he spoke on cast aspersions and seeing of Nithyananda always in company of Ranjitha.

‘Kanchi Diviner gave these statements only to defame me. I am shocked and suffered immense agony by his malicious statements. I was a strong believer of Nithyananda. Once listened to his discourses and attended the religious conferences, I became his disciple,’ she said. As Ranjitha arrived late to court yesterday, judge posted the matter to May 16 when she has to give a sworn statement. Then summons will be issued on Jayendra Saraswathi.
