Star Hero's Negative Experiment

Following the path shown by Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Darr’ or Rajinikanth in ‘Baasha’ and ‘Robot’ by playing the negative shaded characters, many of the other star heroes of South are opting for grey characterizations. However, Amitabh Bachchan also played similar roles in 1980’s but the generation has changed now. As per the media reports, it is known that hero Suriya is playing villain character in upcoming bi-lingual film ‘Maatran,’ directed by KV Anand of ‘Rangam’ fame.

Bellamkonda Suresh bagged the Telugu theatrical rights as the film is nearing completion. Suriya is not to play Siamese twins in the film but the hero character turns negative during the progression of story. Suriya and KV Anand have shown tremendous rapport in hit ‘Veedokkade.’ They are to continue the same even for ‘Maatran’ which will be altogether a script never seen in Indian film history. Kajal Agarwal is playing the heroine.
