Big Hero's Bungalow in Supreme Court

Bollywood Big Hero Shah Rukh Khan’s palatial bungalow ‘Mannat’ is raising controversy for its violation of Archaeological, Environmental, Heritage and Coastal Regulation Zone Laws. Petitioners Simpreet Singh and Amit Maruand of Mumbai approached Bombay High Court earlier challenging the construction of ‘Mannat.’ 

Bombay High Court in January end dismissed the petition calling it as ‘Publicity Petition’ imposing a fine of Rs.20,000 on the both. Now, the same petitioners have filed the case in Supreme Court challenging the judgment of High Court. However, local Municipal Authorities of Mumbai gave all clearances for SRK and his ‘Mannat.’
