Tamil Director Furious on CCL

Celebrity Cricket League is considered as such a Cricketing platform where Celebrities from all the Cinema Industries of India come together. While the success of this year’s Ccl has been a discussion subject in film circles from last one week, here is a Tamil Award winning director Seenu Ramasamy who isn’t happy for his hero Vishnu who was hurt batting in final match.

‘My upcoming film is to start its shooting from February 20 after resolving many issues between FEFSI and Producers. After loosing so many days of time, now my hero Vishnu has got a major fracture playing in Ccl and needs to undergo a major surgery which requires nearly 6 to 7 weeks of time to recuperate. Although injuries are common in Cricket but how come our actors who are unprofessional at sport are playing with real cricket ball with less protection. Instead of bringing artists from various film industries together, the league is actually festering ill will. Players in opposite team are considered as rivals. Film authorities should monitor the tournament and safeguard the interests of industry. First responsibility of these star actors is to do films but not to get injured playing the game,’ said Seenu Ramasamy. In fact there are many other artists who were a part of Ccl have got injured.
