Chocolate Hero becomes Maths Genius

As if taking a cue from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s declaration that 2012 be the year of Mathematics, a film on the Arithmetic wizard Srinivas Ramanujam is coming up. Yes, chocolate hero Madhavan is said to be playing the role of the Mathematical genius who baffled his school teacher questioning, ‘Why is zero divided by zero is not one as in the case of any number divided by the same number resulting in the answer one.’

As usual, it is always to be a foreigner to produce films on Indian stalwarts…right from ‘Gandhi.’ This time it is Matt Brown who is directing the movie which is based on the book ‘The Man Who Knew Infinity’ written by Robert Kanigel.
