The two pictures released this week courted controversies from very beginning. There were threats and demands to ban these films on reasons ranging from attempt to misrepresent facts to fear of retaliation. After release, there was absolutely no unrest or trouble from any quarter for both ‘Bezawada’ and the dubbed version of ‘Dirty Picture.’

According to initial talk, top hero Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya starring ‘Bezawada’ is average with mindless violence while ‘Dirty Picture’ is a pure entertainer with high quality acting contribution from Vidya Balan and Naseeruddin Shah.

While the straight film lacked good script and research, the dubbed film was explicit in narration and Vidya had done the role very well. Film goers are more attracted towards the ‘Dirty Picture’ as it has all the elements of an entertainer. Both the pictures got ‘A’ certification from censor and result is open. Touted as the new age ‘Shiva,’ this Chaitu’s ‘Bezawada’ failed to live up to the expectations while ‘Dirty Picture’ is a clear winner. True that, Chaitu faltered before sexy Vidya.
