Tollywood Legends Telling 'Harikatha'

‘Harikatha’ is the oldest form of storytelling in State. Here is a film titled as ‘Devasthanam’ that will have a special focus on Harikatha in which K. Vishwanath and SP Balasubrahmanyam, the two big legends of Tollywood are playing as brothers. Audio of the film is slated for release on December 16 while the film will be released on January 26. This film has five songs and two Harikahtas which will come in the second part of the film. 

Swaraveenapani scored music for the film while Janardhana Maharshi is the director. Viswanath known for his penchant for reviving declining values and traditions will be seen in the lead role who dedicates his life for development of the temple by infusing devotion in to the people in various forms. SPB plays younger brother who is always supportive to his elder sibling and luckily in real life, they are cousins as well.

Amani, the quintessential housewife of yesteryear plays as wife of SPB in a good supportive role. The movie comes under the Sarvejana Sukhinobhavantu Films banner and is produced by Shravani and Sharvani.
