Public Talk: Ramayana or Kamayana!?

Ramgopal Varma has a typical habit of hogging the limelight depending upon others popularity. Once again, his announcement of a project based on modern day ‘Ramayana’ exactly coinciding with successful release and run of ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ is making it to media headlines. Yes, RGV has off late announced that he is to bring a family based film with thrilling elements in the name of ‘Ramayana.’

Having heard this, a section of public are suggesting that RGV should better concentrate on a subject like ‘Kamayana’ rather than using ‘Ramayana’ for his self created controversies. Given, the kind of erotic sense RGV has shown in ‘Rakta Charitra 1’ or ‘Not a Love Story,’ this is in fact not a bad idea as he can definitely bring a quality product if thought on the lines of ‘Kamayana.’ Let us wait and see.
