A trend of NRI film makers

The lean and tall Nagesh Kukunoor seems to have started off a new era of film makers. He came all the way from the US to pursue a career in film making. Now the trend has caught on. And it has caught on big time. We have more film makers taking flight from the US and other countries straight to Tollywood.

There are people like Sekhar Kammula, Gamyam Krish, Raj Pippala and Chakri Toleti along with few others in the pipeline. With new talent from other countries flooding in, we can sure expect more creativity and novel ideas. So far, this new wave of NRI directors have made their presence felt with their debut ventures by tapping the pulse of the audience.
