Inspiration behind Prakashraj in 'Dookudu'

Character of Prakashraj is the most important one in ‘Dookudu.’ Every time, a key character in Srinu Vytla’s flick picks up strange co-incidences with any of the popular personalities in Telangana. We have seen Real Star Sreehari doing the trick in Srinu’s earlier films and in ‘Dookudu’ it was the turn of Prakashraj. 

Yes, the role of Shankar Anna is introduced very early in the film as a leader of masses. A native of Khairatabad area was saying this, ‘Prakashraj’s nature of Shankar Anna character in ‘Dookudu’ was exactly similar to P. Janardhan Reddy, Congress leader who had great respect among the masses in Hyderabad. PJR was elected several times to Assembly. He had emotional and sentimental connection with poor and middle class people in Khairatabad and surrounding areas. Not from the view point of story in the film but PJR could be the inspiration behind director and writer to pen this role.’ Well, Srinu Vytla might have an answer for this.
