What's wrong in Srinu, Rajamouli copying

Rajamouli and Srinu Vytla are currently the men in top form. Films coming from these two are directly hitting the top most industry records. There is a bit of criticism flowing from different media and audience sections on the copycat nature of these directors. Story, action episodes of latest hit ‘Dookudu’ being inspired from some European, Hollywood and Chinese movies is creating quite a bit of buzz similar to what happened to frame to frame copy of ‘Maryada Ramanna’ for Rajamouli some time ago.

‘What is wrong in copying a subject or a point that is liked by a director in some others films. Changing into our nativity or repeating the same with same effect is also not an easy task. Influenced by good ideas for good result can’t be treated as bad. Finally acceptance from audience is what that matters,’ said a film critic. Well, lacking of original ideas in our directors altogether a new subject for debate.
