Akkineni Alarms in RR Movies Office

A strong buzz will be heard in industry circles when ever any of the wealthy outsiders enter into cinema field in new. Rr Movies Venkat is one such person whose tales are heard never ending. Venturing into production and distribution business, with in a minimum period RR and Venkat have become the biggest brands. Recently they have got a big dud with their first distribution project ‘Dhada’ from Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. Trying to recover the losses, RR has kept the entire concentration on next film from Akkineni family member Nagarjuna and that happens to be ‘Rajanna.’

Having acquired the rights of this film, even RR has one more production venture ‘Damarukam’ with same hero Nagarjuna. A report says Venkat has approximately kept Rs.55 Crores of his investment at stake on these two Nagarjuna films along with more of Rs.20 Crores on ‘Oosaravelli’ distribution and Rs.10 Crores on production of ‘Autonagar Surya.’ 

Given Junior NTR’s opening capacity, ‘Oosaravelli’ might breakeven even for a minute positive talk but Akkineni Alarms are ringing dangerously louder in RR Camp Office because there was never an instance in past that a movie from Nagarjuna grossed above Rs.30 Crores. Entire amount poured on ‘Rajanna’ and ‘Damarukam’ is considered highly risky. Let us see, how much can they recover back.
