The original version to Telugu film of Chiranjeevi’s ‘Tagore’ is Tamil version of Vijaykanth’s ‘Ramana’ directed by AR Murugadoss. In both the languages, moves were run away hits of course Telugu was directed by VV Vinayak. The character of hero playing a college professor turning into a vigilante by starting ACF after losing his family due to corruption in society is a subject that finds applicability at any time in Indian scenario.
May be with Anna Hazare’s movement against corruption, few of the leading B-town heroes are approaching Murugadoss to remake the film in Hindi. If Murugadoss tweaks the script to suit Bollywood standards, then any top Bollywood hero like Aamir Khan would love to reprise the role of Chiranjeevi.
‘I would like to remake ‘Tagore/Ramana’ in Hindi but things will move a bit late because I am busy with release of ‘7AM Arivu.’ Then I will be doing a Tamil film with Vijay and a Hindi project with Akshay Kumar. Later on will be ‘Tagore/Ramana,’ if everything falls in right place,’ Murugadoss informed.
