Jiiva flying high on the success of ‘Rangam’ in Telugu (that is ‘Ko’ in Tamil) has got a big blow with ‘Rowthiram’ released last week which turned out to be a dud. We have seen young hero performing very well, promising to cash on his big success. Same was thought by heroine Shriya too. The sex siren, having got broad experience in handling the glam roles has done the same here in ‘Rowthiram’ but not of much usage.
Unluckily Shriya’s career running in doldrums off late might hit the dead block now and end once for all with ‘Rowthiram’ due to the unjustified storyline selected by director Gokul. On the other side, even Jiiva’s father RB Chowdary anticipated to repeat ‘Rangam’ magic is surprised with verdict of Tamil audience.
As what happened with flop Tamil flick ‘Naan Mahaan Allah’ turning out to be a hit in Telugu as ‘Naa Peru Shiva,’ both Jiiva and Shriya are predicting ‘Rowthiram’ Telugu dubbing version that is ‘Roudram’ to fare well. Let us see, how far this movie will help Shriya in Telugu.
