Ileana's Wild Love!

Slender beauty Ileana might be a tough nut on screen but she is tender at heart when coming to wild life love. Yes, she has none cats, two dogs and two kittens at her house in Goa. Reacting on a case registered at Malkajgiri court about death of a two year old dog tied to an auto rickshaw and then dragged along the road resulting in its death, Ileana was furious on punishing the culprit being fined just by Rs.1050.

‘We should have more stringent laws to protect stray pet animals and I really feel sad at this minimal punishment. Although I am not an activist, I am a lover of stray animals. In fact, I found injured cats and dogs on the road and brought them home and now they have become part of our family. Government should initiate some measures to safeguard pet animals,’ said Ileana.
