Sexy heroine goes bald!

Married actress Shilpa Shetty will be seen in a new bald look for an Indo-Chinese venture titled as ‘The Desire.’ Shilpa Shetty has not actually shaved off her head but instead opted for prosthetics. She plays female lead besides Chinese actor Xia Yu. ‘The Desire’ is directed by Sarath. Film has been selected to New York City International Film Festival, 2011 where the film will be screened on August 24. 

Along with Shilpa Shetty, this film also stars Jaya Prada, Anupam Kher and others. It requires guts for portrayal of such character and Shilpa Shetty deserved applause for going bald keeping a side her glamorous avatar. Inner sources film is about the love between Indian classical dancer Goutami and a Chinese artist Jai Leang, when they meet on a travel assignment.
