Not Mahesh Babu, he is Karthik's son

Ever since Mahesh Babu announced through Twitter about his project ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ with Maniratnam, speculations have been rife on this combo. Unfortunately this project is middle dropped in pre-production stages due to enormous budgetary constraints. Now, there has been a new anticipation that Mani is to start the fresh project with Arya and Mahesh Babu in lead roles.     

A correction from Kollywood sources is that, instead of Mahesh Babu it is Gautham, son of yesteryear handsome hero Karthik debuting with this film in lead sharing with Arya. There was an early excitement as Arya who is doing too many multi starrers these days expressed non-interest on project but name of legendary Mani was enough to accept it very soon. Let us see, when will Mani grace on Mahesh Babu?
