“I will enter active politics whenever the people need my presence and services,” Balakrishna, popularly called Balayya, said. He also denied reports which had appeared in a section of the media that he was averse to joining active politics. “Whenever the party High Command needs my services, I will plunge headlong into active politics and work for the party,” he stated.

Responding on the reports of a bitter rift between the Nandamuri and Nara families with the members of the Nandamuri family not being given proper representation in the party, Balayya described the media reports as `baseless’ and `far from truth.’ “In the party, persons are not important. The party is supreme,” he stated. Balayya added that he was ready to participate in any programmes being organized by party in the city.

Earlier, Balakrishna participated in launch of his latest cinematic offering, `Hara Hara Mahadev.’ The shooting for the film began at the HITEX. The film is being directed by B Gopal and Bellamkonda Suresh is the producer. At the film shooting, the actor’s fans raised slogans, describing him as the future Chief Minister.
