Is Venkatesh losing the grip?

Daggubati Venkatesh is considered as a true hero of families. He never cared for image or star status. The number of hit films and range of characters he displayed stands as a proof of his movie selection. Off late there has been a sudden slump in the career graph of Venkatesh. Along side he is even loosing the grip in selection of stories and directors.

Normally Venkatesh used to deliver at least one two films every year that too with a guaranteed hit. From 2007 till 2011, it can be called a big depression where Venky had only one super hit ‘Tulasi’ while ‘Chintakayala Ravi, Namo Venkatesha, Eenadu and Nagavalli’ were average to disasters. More than these movies, the time period elapsed between every two releases is a matter of concern. Now, what is happening with ‘Savitri’ and ‘Bodyguard’?
