Asin insists on substantial roles

The beautiful lady from Kerala seems to have a clear idea of what she wants. Asin first tasted success in Telugu and then moved on to Kollywood where her very first film clicked and she became a household name. After that she ventured into Bollywood and saw success there too. Now this lady is said to have been approached by director Priyadarshan for a film opposite Akshay Kumar. Sources say the actress refused the offer saying that her role needs to have more importance. She is reported to have told the director that for her the role is of prime importance and she doesn’t care whether it is Akshay Kumar or some one else co starring with her. Some people say this act could prove to be not so healthy for her career.
