Nagarjuna, Anushka in IT Trap!

Unbalanced illegal assets accumulation; the mismatch between Advance Tax payments and assessments have made Tollywood celebrities get into the tarp of Income Tax department. As per available reports, 17 teams of Special Income Tax officers have laid their strong network in Hyderabad and raids have been going on Nagarjuna, Anushka, Raviteja residences from early in the morning. There are four more teams ready to attack on other cine personalities in next few hours.  

A controversial Vizag land dealing between Bellamkonda Suresh and few of our cine celebrities made IT department to keep a close observation on Akkineni family, Anushka and D. Shiva Prasad Reddy of Kamakshi Arts. Till now key documents related to illegal land dealings are reported to have seized by IT officers while many more are still to be searched. Akkineni Venkat’s residence and Annapurna Studios have also been raided. 

For information sake, all the members of Akkineni family received awards from IT department for prompt payment of their taxes. Let us wait and see how many more Tollywood celebrities will come into this IT trap. Raviteja is reported to be presently in Vizag shooting for a film.
