Varma gets 'The Worst' Award

Not just Tollywood even Bollywood seems to have got enough of boredom facing the heat of films from Ramgopal Varma. The Golden Kela Awards instituted in 2009 by Random Magazine, India’s longest running humor magazine released its fresh list of award winners list for the year 2011. 

Intention behind these awards is to ridicule Hindi films, stars and technical members acknowledging them for giving their best in worst. Randoma Magazine and Sundaas Film Institute will choose the winners. As part of their list, Ramgopal Varma was awarded ‘Bas Kijiye Bahut Ho Gaya Award’ for the year which in Telugu means ‘Aapey Raa Baaboy Ekkuvaindi’ Award. Others in the list are Worst Actor –Shahrukh Khan, Worst Actress – Sonam Kapoor and Worst Director – Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
