Senior actor angry with Item Song

Veteran actor Dev Anand is infuriated about the item song or you call title song in the film ‘Dum Maro Dum.’ A lot of hype is doing rounds over the title track of ‘Dum Maro Dum,’ from producer Rohan Sippy which will have Deepika Padukone doing this sizzling number. 

Reason for Dev Anand not impressed by this is because his1971 hit film ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’ had featured the same song by this film’s name. Dev saab opines that ‘Dum Maro Dum’ is an eternal phenomenon with undeniable efforts and the magic created by RD Burman with Asha Bhonsle. ‘How some could take away my song based upon a clause mentioned in the contract. I am disturbed by this for several days,’ said Dev Anand who also wrote an open letter regarding the matter to the producers. 

Recently the olden flick ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’ is released in color by the name of ‘Hum Dono Rangeen’ and Dev Anand is working on six scripts and one of them named as ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna Aaj.’
