Varma hits back at 'Monkey' criticism

Ramgopal Varma for the first time is seen in a different avatar. The criticism and personal attack by TV9 and Yandamuri Veerendranath are taken on a very serious perspective and Varma attended the TV9 studio yesterday to separate milk and water. The primary complaint from Ramu was not about facing the criticism on his movies but the range of derogatory personal comments telecasted in the program ‘Ram Dhamaal Varma.’

Reacting on the ‘Monkey’ criticism from Yandamuri, the maverick director said, ‘Personally I am seeing a Monkey in Yandamuri for reasons unknown, may be for the reason of commenting me as Monkey. Firstly I don’t want to take these kinds of free suggestions and instead convey him to concentrate on his own career as a writer in bringing more and more good books rather than advising others.’
