Hero to die for movie's re-release!

Bollywood always works on strange plans. Audiences never accept the regular formulas. It is good that ‘Delhi 6,’ a film made on religious bigotry and sad state of political affairs in India remained as a good film but not proved successful commercially. With Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead, film maker Raykesh Om Prakash Mehra wanted to end the movie on a tragic note but he ended the film on a happy note uniting the love couple. 

Later on Raykesh made changes to starting and ending of movie and showcased it at various International film festivals receiving huge acclaims. ‘I think I drifted away from my vision of killing my protagonist and that did not really work. I now want to re-release the film so that people can see what the original idea behind the movie was,’ said Raykesh who is on the plan to re-release ‘Delhi 6’ very soon where Abhishek Bachchan will die in the climax.
