The Paradise Registers Record Business For Nani

Nani’s The Paradise has reportedly registered the biggest pre release theatrical business of his career, with worldwide rights valued at ₹105 crore for the Telugu version. Trade reports also describe it as the highest pre release business for a Tier 2 hero in Tollywood, ahead of its September 24 worldwide release.
The reported Telugu States business stands at ₹75+ crore, comprising ₹35 crore from Nizam, ₹10 crore from Ceeded, ₹9 crore from Uttarandhra, ₹5.4 crore from Guntur, ₹5.6 crore from East Godavari, ₹4 crore from West Godavari, ₹4.5 crore from Krishna and ₹2.7 crore from Nellore.
Beyond the Telugu States, the reported theatrical business includes ₹6.5 crore from Karnataka, ₹3.5 crore from the rest of India and ₹18 crore overseas, taking the worldwide rights value to ₹105 crore. Trade estimates suggest the film needs around ₹105-110 crore share to enter hit territory which equals to a worldwide gross of 180 - 200 crores.
The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, will have paid premieres on September 23 before its September 24 release. The film has completed shooting and received an A certificate with 2h 49m run-time, while premium ticket prices have also been approved in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Nani, Kayadu Lohar and Raghav Juyal headline the action drama.
