What is TFPC connection to Blockbusters

Tollywood of late is shiting at the box office with films like Maa Inti Bangaaram, Korean Kanakaraju, Irumudi turning out to be a huge hits.

A source shares "Telugu Film Producers Council has turned into something of a lucky charm for Tollywood films, with several movies that registered their titles with the council and completed their censor formalities going on to score big at the box office in recent months."

The source continued “Whether it is mere coincidence or otherwise, Telugu films that register with the council seem to be working exceptionally well at the box office,”

The source adds “These three films alone have reportedly earned over Rs 100 crore in share in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. So, the registrations with the council seem to be turning lucky,”

The source points "Interestingly, blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD had also followed the same process before emerging as a Rs 1,000-crore-plus worldwide grosser. The council registers film titles and assists producers in completing censor formalities without unnecessary hurdles."

TFPC also resolved the controversy over Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu's Varanasi title. It coordinates to protect the interests of producers and interacts with MAA to know the issues of producers, actors and technicians, helping resolve disputes through discussions.
