Drishyam 3 Telugu OTT Release Stopped By Court

Drishyam 3 Telugu dubbed version got a last-minute stop just before its Amazon Prime Video premiere. The Madras High Court gave an order to pause the streaming after a legal complaint. Rajkumar Theatre Private Limited told the court that it owns the Telugu remake and broadcast rights for the third part of Drishyam series. The company said streaming the Telugu dubbed version will break copyright rules. The court accepted the request and gave interim protection till the case is checked properly. Because of this order Amazon Prime Video cannot show the Telugu version now.
The stop came as bad news for Telugu fans who were waiting to watch the Mohanlal crime thriller at home. The film is a direct sequel and the story is expected to continue the family drama and mystery from earlier parts. The movie did well in theaters and fans wanted to see it again on OTT in Telugu. The makers had planned a big digital release with multiple languages on the same day.
The court order only stops the Telugu dubbed version. Drishyam 3 will still premiere on Prime Video in other languages as planned. The platform has to follow the court decision until the rights issue is solved. Fans in Telugu states will have to wait for clarity on when the dubbed version will be available. The legal fight is about who has the right to remake and broadcast the film in Telugu.
This delay has created confusion among viewers as the release was announced just hours before. Movie lovers are hoping for a quick solution so the Telugu version can come online soon. Until the case is closed the Telugu OTT release of Drishyam 3 remains on hold.
