Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay divorce case with wife Sangeetha Sornalingam was heard at Chengalpattu Mahila Court on June 15 2026. The court has now adjourned the case to August 7 for next hearing. This case started in February when Sangeetha filed a petition and accused Vijay of having an affair with a female actor since 2021.She said even after promises he continued the relationship and went to events with her. Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru from Vriddhi Cinemas LLP said he was not aware of the revenue sharing plan linked to ticket price increase. He also said he did not attend the main meeting and did not give approval for it.In a letter to Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce he asked that Peddi be kept out of any new revenue sharing rule. He felt worried about decisions being taken without his knowledge and said it could cause money problems for the film. He added that distributors and exhibitors had already fixed their deals before release.Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce has now shared its own letter to explain the situation. As per the Chamber the 7.5 percent proposal for single screen theatres was sent to the producer on May 27 2026. They said producers distributors and exhibitors were all part of the talks and everyone got the details early.The plan was only for the time when ticket price hike is active and not a permanent rule. Exhibitors who got higher ticket prices were expected to share 7.5 percent of the extra amount for a short period. Sobhan did full justice to all the departments he handled.Pradeep Maddali highlighted how people of Godavari districts take rooster fights as a prestige issue and how few anti social elements take advantage of the gambling. He ensured that the narration doesnot turn into completely serious tone but told in a entertaining manner.The webseries has six episodes and the first episode starts with the introduction of lead actors and the missing of the rooster. The nnarration takes entertaining route with the investigation. All the investigation, scene recreation and others have been written in a funny manner.However, some scenes got repeated and this slowed the pace of the narration, diluting the tempo. Some scenes looked forced and some are not brought to the logical conclusion. One gets a feeling that there could have been few thrillinng scenes while revealing the antagonist. He tried to make up for it with hilarious scene in the police station during the preclimax. The entire first half is dragged with the love scenes featuring the lead pairs. The interval twist sets the tone for the second half. The pace picks up in the second half but the so called twists can be easily predicted.The music for the film is tuned by Ilayaraja. The songs looked like serial songs and offered nothing new. and the background music turned out to be a huge disappointment. One cannot believe that Ilayaraja scored the music for the film. The cinematography of Arvind Kannabiran is good. He showed the scenes in a realistic manner adding aesthetic elements. He also highlighted the importance of martial arts and how it will be helpful as a self defence system.He started the narration in &nbsp;a gripping manner and then the narration and screenplay turns racy throughout the first half. The first half ends in a decent manner setting the stage for the second half. The second half also treads in a similar manner but pace dips at times and due to few repetitive and dragged scenes. The climax too turns out to be weak.Arun Radhakrishnan's cinematography is good. He used the camera angles and color combinations to perfection do give a natural and realistic feel. Ravi Basrur's background music is impactful and added value to the narration. The editing of Pradeep E Ragav is decent enough except for few drags here and there and repetitive scenes. He tried to come up with an interesting story in the backdrop of futuristic world and sci fi elements. While the idea is good, he failed to execute it in a perfect manner on the screen. He lacked clarity of thought and the scenes and screenplay ends up confusing viewers.The slow pace in the narration, repetitive scenes irritates viewers to the core. People are left to wonder about the usage of CGI and VFX and this resulted as the story lacked strong human emotions. The actors are just seen passing through the motions with artificial feel.Except for the so called sci fi elements, futuristic world, VFX and CGI, the film's story turned out to be monotonous, routine and outdated.Sri Venkat &amp; Sooraj S Kurup's music and background score is just ok. Cinematography of Venu Muralidhar &amp; Ram turned the film rich with attractive visuals. The editing of Hemanth Ippalapalli left a lot to be desired. There are many scenes that dragged the narration testing the patience of the viewers. VFX and CGI are good. He tried to elevate the role of a psycho who is obsessed even after the girl is married and the consequences in the aftermath of it. &nbsp;He told the story from the viewpoint and the angle of a psychopath and this may not appeal to all.There are many scenes that may be uncomfortable for the viewers to watch, the violence and torture being one of them. He highlighted the darker side of the happenings in the lives of many women as many find it difficult to come forward and talk openly in public.The story offered nothing much but Pranav Swaroop penned the story highlighting the characterisation of pyschopath and it may appeal only to few.Shrie Saikumaar Daara with his cinematography gave a natural and realistic feel to the proceedings. He showed the locations using the camera angles in an apt manner. The background score of Shravan Bharadwaj elevated the scenes taking the intensity to new heights. The RR is quite good. Editing of Mithun Soma, Srikanth Patnaik. R could have been better. Many films came earlier with similar concept and Veeru Vulavala tried to generate humour and entertain movie lovers with this story highlighting the frustration of the husbands. The entire first half is loaded with the fights between husband and wife and the happenings between the friends and court scenes. All those things are routine and few hilarious scenes are just ok though they are nothing new.The first half ends with the revelation of the secrets of the protagonists and the entire second half is all about them proving their innocence. The director failed to connect the emotional chords and failed to establish how a small incidents lead to divorce. Few emotions are ok but the super heroes fights looked silly and didnot workout. He tried to load the second half with intense emotions but failed to do full justice to them.He ended few roles abruptly and didnot justify few characters in the film. Climax twist is decent &nbsp;to some extent.Satish Muthyala's cinematography is good. Shrawan Bharadwaj's music is just ok and so is the background music. Editing of Koti left a lot to be desired. There are many unnecessary scenes that impacted the final output. But at time she looked artificial, pale and jaded. Despite playing the role of a blind girl, she expressed herself quite well and impressed with her screenpresence. He tried to send the message to the society with this emotional love story that disability shouldn't be an obstacle in the success and one shouldn't stop progressing brooding over the past happenings.The first half starts with the introduction of various characters and the blossoming of love between the lead pair before the interval twist. But the routine shades and slow pace ended up testing the patience of the viewers. The entire second half is loaded with emotional content. The twist in the pre climax is good and the climax turns out to be emotional.There are many unnecessary scenes that defies logic and also the conflict is not shown in &nbsp;a convincing manner. The relationship and connection to four kids and the granny is not shown properly.Aravind Thirukovela with his cinematography turned the scenes colorful and visually appealing on the screen. Sooraj S Kurup's songs are just average. He however made up for it with his background music adding value to the narration. Ram Jagadeesh's dialogues are relevant, interesting and motivational. Editing of Raviteja Giriala left a lot to be desired. Though the film's duration is less, the editing made it feel like the film is never ending. Nandamuri Balakrishna new movie with director Koratala Siva will have a grand opening on June 25 this month. The film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Mikkilineni Sudhakar together. Reports say Balakrishna will appear in a fresh new look for this project. The first shooting schedule is planned to start from second week of July.A big set is being built for action scenes that will be shot at the beginning. Inside sources say the story is set in a mafia world but it will also have strong family emotions. Fans are waiting to see the combo of Balakrishna and Koratala Siva after a long gap. The new Balakrishna film is being called Carpenter for now but official title is not announced yet.The movie will show action with mafia background and also focus on family values which is a mix Koratala Siva is known for. There are reports that Dr Rajasekhar will play the villain in this film. His role is said to be strong and full of power.Complete details about cast, music and other crew will be shared after the opening event. With Balakrishna doing back to back mass films and Koratala Siva known for big commercial stories, expectations are high. The team will reveal more updates once shooting starts next month.
