Ever since the audio release of ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu’ happened amidst the presence of young guests and the comments from Ramcharan encouraging the young director Surya Prakash Rao, there was one subject which has become most sensational in media circles and that is about the weakening of ‘Magadheera’ records in Tollywood.
Needless to mention that regional channels have targeted heavily on ‘Magadheera’ and the upcoming releases of ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu, Shakthi, Badrinath’ are expected as possible threats which can cross the high barriers of ‘Magadheera’ records. Coming to logical reasoning and the sour experiences in this year, many big budgeted movies were released with ‘Magadhera’ records as their objective which failed to reach half of its mile.
Mega Fans are strong enough pleading that ‘Magadheera’ records aren’t that feeble and records like these can possibly be broken only by the movies which have substance above this magnum opus. Will the same 2010 experiences be repeated in 2011 or do we really have a threat to ‘Magadheera’? First quarter of 2011 is enough to arrive at a conclusion.
