Namitha becomes Ramya Krishna

Buxom actress Namitha is betting big on her role in Tamil film ‘Ilaignan,’ which has been directed by well known director Suresh Krissna. This one will be Namitha’s first Tamil film in almost 15 months as her one was ‘Jaganmohini,’ which hit the screens in 2009.

And if one is to go by what Namitha claims, her role in this film could well bring her back into the spotlight. ‘After Jaganmohini, I wanted to do a powerful character in Tamil. My character in this movie is exactly that. I play a manipulative woman in the film. Honestly, I was a little apprehensive about doing this role but then I agreed when director Suresh Krissna told me the script. Just trust me; this is a character that is bound to be talked about like the ‘Neelambari’ character which Ramya Krishna did in Narasimha,’ explained Namitha.
