Too much of anything is too bad. Director Baskar could have understood this and affection towards his ‘Lucky Girl’ Genelia should take some other form rather than casting her in monotonous roles. After getting the juice out of Genelia in ‘Bommarillu,’ many other directors tried the same bubbly angle in this chirpy babe. Yet, what made Baskar to try the same again for major portion of Jaanu’s role in ‘Orange’ is unanswered?

Although Genelia’s character heads back to settled performance in second half of the movie but audience are clearly coming out with view that Genelia wasn’t the best choice besides Cherry like Charan. Given the fact that age factor is visible on Genelia’s body language; innocence on face, special costumes, superb songs…nothing helped as Ramcharan alone fought the entire show with less support from others. For ‘Orange,’ Baskar’s Lucky Girl is a clear Bouncer.
