Fresh summons for Prabhu & Nayan

The Chennai Family Court on Tuesday directed choreographer-director Prabhu Deva and actress Nayantara Nayantara to appear before the it in connection with the case filed by Ramalath, Prabhu’s wife. The court issued these directions as the duo failed present themselves before it and adjourned the case for further hearing till January 21, 2011.

Ramalath had earlier filed a petition seeking restitution of her conjugal rights and orders prohibiting Nayantara and Prabhu from entering into wedlock. This case was posted for hearing on Tuesday. Earlier, the duo failed to appear in court in the first instance and was issued a second summon through the Nadigar Sangam.

The media expected that both of them would appear before the Court on Tuesday. The magistrate has adjourned the case to January 21, 2011 and ordered the issuing of the fresh summons to Prabhu and Nayantara immediately.
