Vishwambhara director Vassishta's father makes a startling revelation. Mallidi Vassishta scored his first hit with Kalyan Ram's Bimbisra and right after that he got the golden opportunity to direct Mega Star Chiranjeevi. The film titled Vishwambhara, a socio fantasy entertainer is progressing at a brisk pace.

In the midst of all this, Vassishta's father Mallidi Satyanaranaya Reddy made startling allegations against Tollywood heroes. He produced films like Dhee, Bhageeratha, Bunny. He said during Ishq, Nithiin's father Sudhakar Reddy was in huge financial mess. He said during that time he distributed lot of films in Vizag and many times he helped Sudhakar Reddy financially.

He said during that time, his son Vassishta who was interested in direction told that they would make a film with Nithiin. He said he asked his son Vassishta to ready the story for Nithiin and also set a producer and gave Rs 75 lakhs to Nithiin and Rs 10 lakhs for cinematographer Chota K Prasad and spent over Rs 2crs on the project.

He said however Nithiin did not like the story Vassishta told and they decided to do another story with Vassishta as director. He said once A--Aa became a hit, Sudhakar Reddy told them that Nithiin's range will come down if he does a film with a newcomer. He said they called the producer and said they will do a film with Puri Jagannath and asked him to be the producer but the producer walked out of the project and added in this way they escaped from suffering more losses.

He said Vassishta is the close friend of Allu Sirish and he planned to do the film with him. But Srirasthu Subhamasthu became a hit and he was in two minds whether to do the project with Vassishta. He said Allu Aravind was upset and he told Vassishta that he would get any hero he will ask him for.
