What is your background?

I used to work in multiple IT companies before starting an animation studio. I met director Supreeth through a common friend, and together, we created a web series called Alanati Chitralu. Since I was also interested in films, I wanted to make a theatrical movie. When Supreeth narrated this fantasy thriller, I really liked it and decided to produce Tuk Tuk.

Since I have experience in animation and loved the content, we all collaborated to bring this fantasy story to life. This is planned as a franchise. Along with strong content, the film includes commercial elements.

What is your confidence level in Tuk Tuk?

I firmly believe that if the content is strong, the audience will appreciate it, regardless of the language. If the content resonates, it will also become a commercial success. As a producer, this is my core belief.

What is the justification for the title Tuk Tuk?

In some regions, a three-wheeler auto-rickshaw is called Tuk Tuk. In this movie, the Tuk Tuk auto plays a crucial role, which is why we chose this title.

The artists in the film were also selected based on their suitability for the roles.

How does Roshan's previous film Court being a hit benefit your movie?

The success of Court is a great positive start for our film. With this movie, Roshan will gain even more recognition. The buzz created by Court will definitely help Tuk Tuk. There is already good anticipation among audiences.

What are the key highlights of Tuk Tuk?

The film contains entertainment, emotion, fantasy, and thriller elements. It will keep the audience engaged for two and a half hours without any dull moments.

Why did you choose Supreeth as the director?

I loved the story Supreeth narrated. Our thought processes are quite similar, and I had complete faith in him. He lived up to my expectations.

What magical elements are present in the movie?

The magical elements within the vehicle will strongly connect with the audience. The teaser and trailer have already generated curiosity. People are eager to know if this is a fantasy or a horror film. The intrigue surrounding the film has already started.

Is it true that all rights were sold even before the film’s release?

Yes, even before the release, the digital and satellite rights were sold at a good price. We are also planning a satisfying theatrical release.

What kind of movies do you want to make in the future?

Based on the response to this film, I plan to create even better movies in the same combination. I want to explore different genres and expand Tuk Tuk into a franchise. We have already left some hints in the movie for this purpose.

Have you received any feedback from early screenings?

Yes, those who have already watched the movie have given very positive feedback. OTT and satellite buyers were impressed and acquired the rights. This has boosted our confidence in the film’s success.
