The highly anticipated film Sikandar, starring Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, and directed by AR Murugadoss, has completed its filming. The movie's last sequence was shot at a luxury hotel in Mumbai, marking the end of a 90-day shooting schedule that began in June 2024. The film, which also stars Sathyaraj and Prateik Babbar, is set to release on Eid 2025 and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
The film was shot in various locations across Mumbai, Hyderabad, and other parts of the country. The shoot included four songs, three of which are dance numbers, and five action sequences. A source revealed that Sikandar is a typical Murugadoss film, with elements of romance, politics, drama, and revenge, making it a perfect fit for the big screen.
While the principal shoot was wrapped up in January, the cast, including Khan and Mandanna, have been shooting patchwork scenes and a promotional song in February and March. The edit is locked, and the team is working on color grading, VFX, and background music. The final prints of Sikandar will be finalized in the next five days, marking the countdown to its theatrical release. Coming to its OTT release, reports suggest that Netflix has acquired the streaming rights of 'Sikandar' at Rs 80 crore and if the film crosses Rs 350 crore at the box office then the deal will close at Rs 100 crore

With the film's completion and release preparations underway, fans are eagerly waiting to see Salman Khan back on the big screen. Sikandar promises to be an action-packed entertainer, and its Eid release is expected to be a treat for fans.
