John Abraham on Pathaan prequel

Shah Rukh Khan revived the Bollywood's sagging fortunes at the box office with his action thriller Pathaan in 2023. The film directed by Siddharth Anand starred Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles.

In the meantime, John Abraham speaking to scribes, shared his thoughts on Pathaan prequel. He said “[Pathaan] was really, really cool and special. Adi (Aditya Chopra) and me, we did Dhoom, Kabul Express, New York and then Pathaan. I think he (Adi) gets me right, and hopefully we'll be doing a prequel to Jim before he goes bitter. So that should be happening.”

Sometime back Siddharth Anand also spoke about the prequel. He shared  “It should be, but it’s too early to talk about anything. I feel, Jim’s character does warrant a prequel."  Pathaan turned out to be the biggest hit in Shah Rukh Khan's career.

John Abraham was last seen in Vedaa.His film Diplomat is slated for release on 14 March 2025.
