However due to the differences between Lyca and Shankar the shooting was completed only after Red Giant was brought on board. Now Red Giant has taken over the film and has asked to release it without the remaining song. This development has raised questions about the fate of Indian 3 and whether it will be able to recover from the setbacks it has faced.

Kollywood is abuzz with the news that Lyca Productions has pulled out of Kamal Haasan Indian 3 directed by Shankar. This development comes as a shock to the film industry especially after the failure of Indian 2 which was also directed by Shankar. The combination of Shankar and Kamal Haasan had earlier resulted in the blockbuster film Indian in 1996 but their recent collaboration has not been as successful. After the failure of Indian 2 Shankar Game Changer also flopped which further affected the market for Indian 3.

The decision by Lyca Productions to pull out of Indian 3 is a signiKamal Haasan had earlier expressed his hopes for Indian 3 stating that he liked the film and hoped that it would make up for the losses incurred by Indian 2. However with Lyca Productions pulling out of the project it remains to be seen whether Indian 3 will be able to live up to Kamal Haasan expectations. The film fate now rests with Red Giant which has taken over the project and will be responsible for its release.

The future of Indian 3 remains uncertain with speculation rife about the film fate. Will Red Giant be able to salvage the project and release it successfully Only time will tell.
