'Emergency' is based on the political life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, specifically focusing on the occasion when the Emergency was announced. Kangana Ranaut not only directed but also produced the film, which boasts an impressive cast, including Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Bhumika Chawla, Milind Soman, and Mahima Chaudhary. The film was jointly produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Film banners, with a budget of Rs. 60 crores. Although it collected only Rs. 21 crores at the box office, the film's OTT release is expected to generate more interest.
The ensemble cast of 'Emergency' delivers impressive performances, with Kangana Ranaut playing the lead role of Indira Gandhi.
