Madhavan on his bank account and his insecurities. R Madhavan has surprised fans with a candid admission about his financial anxieties revealing that he feels insecure about his bank account.

During an interview with Mashable Dubai Journey R Madhavan confessed Iam really insecure about my bank account. I really dont know how much I have and how much I can afford to scrutinise it because I dont know what will come of it. I have a broad understanding of how much I have.

Despite this uncertainty Madhavan maintains a relatively modest lifestyle owning what he describes as a simple small boat that adequately meets his family needs. However his passion for continuous learning has motivated him to expand his skillset.

I have a simple small boat which is enough for the family. But I always wanted to get a captain license. I want to make every year significant by learning a new skill. During COVID the new skill I learned was getting my captain license and learning to navigate a boat. Its not that difficult. You sit and study for 10 to15 days you give exams and practicals and they give you a license.

R Madhavan most recent film appearance was in Hisaab Barabar along side Kriti Kulhari and Neil Nitin Mukesh which is currently available for streaming on Zee5. He is also set to star in Aap Jaisa Koi alongside Fatima Sana Shaikh. The release date for Aap Jaisa Koi is expected to be announced soon.
