RGV Saree teaser review

Ram Gopal Varma's new film, Saaree, carries the tagline: "Too much love can be scary." Directed by Giri Krishnakamal and produced by Ravi Shankar Varma under RGV-AARVI Productions LLP, the psychological thriller is slated for a worldwide Pan-India release on February 28, 2025, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.

Saaree is based on real-life events and stars Sathya Yadu and Aaradhya Devi in the lead roles. The trailer was released today at 10 AM via RGV Den through Mango Media.

Ram Gopal Varma shared the trailer, posting, "Trailer of SAAREE film featuring [Instagram link for Aaradhya Devi] as the GIRL in the SAAREE and [Instagram link for Sathya Yadu] as the PSYCHO who is DANGEROUSLY OBSESSED with her. Film releasing in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam on Feb 28th."

In a statement, director and producer Ram Gopal Varma shared, "We have heard a lot about the dangers and terrible incidents that occur when we make friends with people we don't know on social media and trust them without knowing their background or foreground. We have seen them too! We have seen them too!! This film, Sari, is based on such a real-life incident." This sentiment is also conveyed in a background voice within the film itself.
