Reason Behind Delay Of Daaku Maharaaj OTT

Nandamuri Balakrishna latest movie Daaku Maharaj has been making waves at the box office since its release on January 12. The film which features Bobby Deol Pragya Jaiswal Shraddha Srinath and Urvashi Rautela in key roles received a super hit talk due to its engaging storyline and Balakrishna action sequences. However the OTT release of the film has been shrouded in uncertainty leaving fans eagerly waiting for an update.

The OTT streaming rights of Daaku Maharaj have been acquired by Netflix and initially it was expected that the film would be made available on the platform by the second week of February coinciding with Valentine Day. However due to the slow progress of dubbing work for other languages the OTT release is likely to be delayed further. According to reports the film will be released in Telugu Tamil Kannada Malayalam and Hindi and the makers are planning to bring it to OTT streaming only after 50 days from the date of release.

The Producers Council rule which stipulates that a film should be brought to OTT only after 50 days from the date of release is also being strictly implemented by the movie team. As a result the OTT release of Daaku Maharaj is expected to be delayed until the first week of March. The film success in Telugu and Hindi has generated significant interest among fans who are eagerly waiting for the OTT release.

With the delay in OTT release fans of Nandamuri Balakrishna will have to wait a little longer to watch Daaku Maharaj on Netflix.
