Boycott Laila controversy - Vishwak Sen apologises

Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen is getting ready to entertain movie lovers with his upcoming film Laila. The film directed by Ram Narayan is racing for a grand release on 14 Feb 2025 offering valentines day treat to everyone.

The film's promotions got good response and the teaser and the trailer captured the attention of all. With Chiranjeevi himself attending the pre release event hype increased over the film. With Vishwak Sen playing the female role, movie lovers are curious to find out what he offered on the screen.

Akanksha Singh is the female lead while Leone James is the music director. In the meantime, during the pre release event, 30 Yrs Prudhvi's comments resulted in a controversy with YSRCP making #BoycottLaila trending online. Vishwak Sen realising the impact, at once tendered an apology.

He posted "I sincerely apologize for the comments made by Prudhvi Raj, even though we had nothing to do with them," He added "The producer and I had stepped out to welcome Chiranjeevi Garu at the entrance when Prudhvi made his speech. If I had been present, I would have stopped him, as this was not a political platform. I have no idea why a senior actor would create such an unnecessary controversy unrelated to our film. I just hope this doesn't affect our film’s release in the coming days."

He continued "If anyone can prove that I was sitting in the auditorium while he made those remarks, I am ready to quit acting."
