Lunch motion petition against Game Changer ticket rates hike in TG

Hike in ticket rates by the governments of AP and TG landed in legal trouble. When Andhra Pradesh government allowed hike in ticket rates and also special shows for Game Changer, Daaku Maharaj and Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, a PIL has been filed against it, citing the recent happenings at the Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad.

Following this, AP High Court passed orders to shorten the number of days for the hike , from 14 days to 10 days. Now similar thing happened in Telangana when a lunch motion petition has been filed in the High Court against Game Changer ticket rates hike by the government.

After hearing the arguments. High Court expressed its displeasure against the government for giving permission to the early shows in Telangana. The High Court said it will pass orders regarding extra shows, show timings and control of crowds on Friday. It also said it will hear the ticket hike rates issue along with Pushpa The Rule stampede case.
