The film got delayed due to various controversies and finally Censor Board cleared decks with U/A certificate with 13 censor cuts. Already the film's promotions got good response and today Kangana Ranaut released the film's second trailer. The trailer features Anupam Kher as Jayaprakash Narayan dashing off a letter to PM Indira Gandhi (Kangana Ranaut) from the jai and Kangana thundering "Main hi cabinet hun (I am the cabinet)" when told she needs cabinet approval to impose Emergency. Another bold statement follows: "Indira is India."
The trailer also showed Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhary , late Satish Kaushik as Vajpayee, Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw and Pupul Jayakar respectively. The film is releasing on 17 Jan 2025.
