Student sues Amaran makers. The makers of Amaran are over the moon with the film turning out to be a sensational hit at the box office. The film is going greatguns and already crossed more than Rs 300crs. The film featured Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles and is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy.
In the midst of all this, the makers got a huge shock when a student sued Amaran makers and dragged them to court. An Engineering student from Chennai,VV.Vageesan got a shock when his mobile started ringing non stop and he started getting flooded with numerous unknown calls.
It is known that Sai Pallavi who played the role of Indu Rebecca Verghese wrote a mobile number on a piece of paper and tosses to Sivakarthikeyan who played the role of Major Mukund Varadarajan. The number turned out to be that of VV.Vageesan.
Vageesan sued the makers demanding Rs 1.1 cr compensation for the mental torture and agony. He said he initially silenced his phone but after hearing to the voice messages he realised that his number was shown in the film. Many thought it was Sai Pallavi's number while others thought it was Major Mukund's wife Indu's number.
He said though he tagged his ordeal to the makers, they did not respond forcing him to take the legal action.
